Very proud of this champion today. After his dawn training session he paddled out the back to help rescue two struggling swimmers that were swept out in a very fast rip. The swell was big, raw and ugly and they were very far off shore. This was a very tough rescue. MASSIVE effort Maoi. Very proud mate. Shout out to the others that helped with this also. Great community we live in here on the NSW Central Coast. Just a reminder to ALL swimmers. ALWAYS respect the ocean. Know your limits, know the conditions and never swim alone. Stay safe everyone!
