I have been absolutely loving the Saturday morning classes run by ESA. Kim has really pushed me in so many aspects, both in and out of the water.
As a rock climber, correct breathing and mindset techniques are both needed to ensure control and safety when climbing high above the ground. Kim was able to adapt the classes to allow further emphasis on these aspects of the training.
As someone not always confident in the water, Kim has helped me to get rid of my mental barriers through continued perseverance and a positive mindset. It has been amazing to be pushed out of my comfort zone, yet all within the safe environment of the class.

After starting at ESA, I saw a very noticeable improvement in more than one area of my well-being. My main forms of physical activity include scuba and free diving, rock climbing, surfing and yoga. As a result of only two sessions, I felt a rapid advancement in all of these activities in terms of energy, endurance, and having a clarified connection between my body, mind and breath.
Kim is a very well rounded, knowledgeable and compassionate teacher who focuses on your individual ability when she sets goals for you. The water can be a tricky place to navigate in countless ways, but every person feels safe and secure in the presence of Kim’s expertise.
No matter your ability, age or confidence level, I would recommend anyone to try an ESA session. You will see change not just in your physical body but in your mental and spiritual well-being. Furthermore, any cold water exposure can enhance nervous system health, decrease inflammation and promote longevity... so get amongst it.

Kim at ESA has helped me push myself in and out of the water with her training. The stoke is high and definitely worth the chilly mornings. It has proved to be an awesome morning ritual and i have seen much progress both in swimming and other sporting hobbies.
Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get active and stay healthy in a relaxed, calm but hard working environment where you can comfortably push your own boundaries.
I have personally been stoked on the training sessions with ESA. At first I thought it would be just swim training but the benefits I’ve experienced have gone far beyond that. I’m seeing improved results in all other sports and love the mindfulness and breath training aspects too.
